Windows Client / Destination of the copy to file funtion
« on: May 05, 2020, 11:36:47 PM »
hi
Is it possible to setup a 'default' folder for the 'copy to file' function?  I know you can always use the 'Browse' button to get a windows explorer and choose a different folder - but I would like to try to urge people to use a specific folder by making it the default ...
we are using the window client v. 10.1.

Windows Client / Re: documents rotated when viewed in client v. 10.1
« on: June 25, 2018, 08:29:51 AM »
the answer from IBM was as Stephen McNulty wrote.
But my experience is that even though I have FixedAutoOrientation=TRUE in the ftdport2.ini file - the documents are still rotated. I also still have an issue with the position of the text on the page - so I need to change zoom to 75 % to be able to view the text in the v. 10.1 client  (see the attachments). Is that caused by the pagedef/formdef used?

If I change the paper size will that change only affect documents loaded after I change the application or will it also affect the old documents?

Windows Client / documents rotated when viewed in client v. 10.1
« on: May 30, 2018, 05:48:31 AM »
Hi
I have just tested client v. 10.1.0.2 (64 bit)  for windows - and some of the document are rotated 90 degrees when they are presented - has any one else had same experience?  I don't have the issue in my v. 9.5.0.4 client

Best regards

update ...

it seems to be connected to the use of specific pagedef/formdef - can it be that IBM has changed how they interpret the pagedef/formdef members?

I have opened a PMR at IBM

Documentation / how to get the LoadId
« on: February 23, 2018, 02:22:33 AM »
Hi
we run CMOD v. 9.5 on z/OS.

Is there a way to find the LoadID if you don't have the ouput from the loadjob anymore and you can't find it in the systemlog (maybe because the data was loaded long time ago)?

Windows Client / File issue with version 9.5.0.4
« on: February 01, 2016, 07:37:58 AM »
I'm testing the client v. 9.5.0.4 on a windows client.

In our old client (v.8.4.1.3 and v.9.0.0.2) we had an issue when saving a document from Ondemand to a file using 'View - copy docment pages to file' in the tool bar - it  removed some characters og wrap the lines - it was solved by editing the ftdport2.ini file adding AsciiCPI=20 and AsciiLPI=12 to the [MISC] section.
Now I have the same issue with client 9.5.0.4 but this time is doesn't help adding the 2 keywords to the ftdport2.ini file - has any one else had and solved this issue?

Best regards

Windows Client / Re: SQLCODE = -612 when trying to add a new field to APG
« on: October 19, 2015, 04:34:08 AM »
hi again

I have found the description of the tables - and when I look into ARSAGFLD, it doesn't contain the field that I wish to add to the application group ....  but I'm still interest of knowning what you mean when you write: ' Can you do a 'Describe table' on the AG's last table to see if the field actually exists for some reason'

hi

sorry about the missing versions :    Windows 7, Administrator v. 9.0.0.2 and DB2 on z/OS v. 11 (NFM)

I have access to DB2 - but I don't know what you mean by 'describe table'?   How do I figure out which table to look at - is there an overview somewhere?   Sorry for my ignorance - but I have had little to none introduction to Ondemand ...

Windows Client / SQLCODE = -612 when trying to add a new field to APG
« on: October 15, 2015, 06:31:22 AM »
hi

when I try to add a new field to an existing Application Group I get the error :  The server failed while accessing Application Group Data. Please contact your system administrator.

When I look in the System log, I find these messages:

    13   DB Error: {DB2 FOR OS/390}{ODBC DRIVER}{DSN11015}   DSNT408I SQLCODE = -612, ERROR:  LISTE_NAVN IS A DUPLICATE NAME                  DSNT418I SQLSTATE   = 42711 SQLSTATE RETURN CODE                                 DSNT415I SQLERRP    = DSNXIAB3 SQL PROCE

but the field has not been defined on the Application group before - so how can it be a duplicate?

any suggestions how to solve the issue?

best regards

Documentation / Re: Client 9.5.0.1 issue ?
« on: October 15, 2015, 06:18:42 AM »
Hi
just a follow-up on this issue - I opened a PMR at IBM and they acknowledged it was an issue - so the fix will be a part of the v. 9.5.0.4 client.

Documentation / Re: Client 9.5.0.1 issue ?
« on: September 23, 2015, 01:01:23 AM »
Hi

thanks for the quick reply - I have now installed v. 9.5.0.3 - and unfortunately it hasn't changed anything - the black fields are still black and the lines are still missing until I make the 'reset view'...

The odd part is that if I save the document in a file - and use anoter viewer - the document looks alright - all the lines are there and the white fields are white and not black ....

I guess I just have to try to make the PMR ...

Documentation / Client 9.5.0.1 issue ?
« on: September 22, 2015, 07:19:13 AM »
Hi
I'm new to Ondemand - I have upgraded the client to v. 9.5.0.1 - and then suddenly some of my AFP doucments are missing the last bit  - when I then choose View - reset View - then I can see the 'missing' lines. Can anyone explain why it suddenly works like that?   I have just made a plain install  ...

I also have an issue with some areas that are white in the v. 9 client - but in the version 9.5.0.1 the same areas are suddenly black - how come?

any help is much appreciated ..
