Content Navigator / Issue with ICN SSO (custom SSO Plugin)
« on: September 04, 2020, 08:01:00 AM »
Hello Team - We have interesting issue with SSO for CMoD.

We have implemented SSO solution using a CMoD Security exit program/IBM Content Navigator plugin. This setup works fine with ICN 3.0.4 and CMoD 9.5. We have ODWEK 10.1 for this setup.

We are now adding a new CMOD system and is V10.5. This is a new setup for us. We will still have CMoD 9.5 with ICN 3.0.4 for the next 12-15 months until we migrate all data from CMoD 9.5 to CMoD 10.5. We also have ICN connecting to our P8 repositories.

ODWEK 10.1 is compatible with CMoD 9.5 and CMoD 10.5 too. We expected the current SSO configuration to work when we added the new CMoD 10.5 repository/system to the mix.

The attached diagram will give a high level understanding of the environment setup I am talking about.

SSO works fine when we access any cmod 9.5 cross repository search (or a ICN desktop meant only for CMoD 9.5) from ICN. However, SSO will not work when we access a cross repository search (or a ICN desktop meant only for CMoD 10.5).

What are we missing? Any thoughts/inputs will help us here.

Thanks in advance!

Regards,
Venu.

Hello Folks - Hope everyone is Safe and doing well.

Question: We are in the process of upgrading our CMoD System from Ver 9.5 to Ver 10.5. We noticed that the support for the 10.5 admin client is documented to be Windows 10 as minimum. Does this mean that the Admin client can now be installed on Windows OS 10 only and no Server OS's are supported (ex. Win Server 2012 R2) or other Win OS's are supported?

If the Admin client is supported on Win server 2012 R2, can we have some literature around the same (support matrix/compatilibility reports)?
