Title: CMOD Z/OS Server Vs CMOD Multiplatform server
Post by: sandeepveldi on December 05, 2011, 11:48:12 AM
Hi,
I'm trying to find what are the differences and limitations of CMOD on Z/OS Vs CMOD on Multiplatform. This might be something that's already
in the documentation but I couldn't find it. Can anyone please provide or point me to the right documentation to get the details I'm looking for.

Any help on this is highly appreciated.

Thanks & Regards,

CMOD on z/OS has another option for ARSLOAD, -E, to use an external cross reference table to pickup the collection name to use for the storage node.  It also requires compilation of an exit to get this working properly.

Without this, the default storage node is static, and all loads will go to the default node.
