Title: REST Service for ICN
Post by: JANDL on May 15, 2019, 12:38:14 AM
Hi,

Can someone maybe try and help me or point me in the right direction.. Currently we're using the Java libraries com.ibm.mm.sdk.* for adding, downloading, searching e.t.c on ECM & CMOD. We're trying to move away from this so I need to find out if there's a Rest service I can consume which will provide me with these functions? I tried looking at the knowledge base and read up on the plugins and some EDS service but it doesn't really give example of what I'm looking for.

Any help would be appreciated :-)

Thanks

Aren't com.ibm.mm.sdk the CM API's?

Yeah, it doesn't sound like you're using the ODWEK APIs, and are probably doing federated searches with some other tool.

Use the IBM CMOD ODWEK Java APIs: https://CMOD.wiki/dox/ODapiDoc/

Give us a little more information about your environment (OS/ software / versions) so we can help you better.

Rumor has it that IBM may be building a REST API (services) for OnDemand.
Just wait and see if it's true or not.  :)

If we don't hear anything solid from IBM within a year from now, it was merely a rumor.
