MP Server / Re: arsdoc update question
« on: January 22, 2015, 03:26:23 AM »
Hi jw ,

thanks for your reaction.

What i meant was the following.

my folder points to 2 application groups (AG)
With arsdoc update i have to add the parameter -g which points to a AG.  But sometimes the update needs to take place in the other AG. Is is possible to have the arsdoc update statement pointing to 2 AG's instead of 1. I do not know which AG needs to be updated.

Kind regards,

Michel.

MP Server / arsdoc update question
« on: January 21, 2015, 07:13:35 AM »
Hi All

I have within 1 folder 2 application groups named : D111 and D111.13072013
Sometimes we have to update an field in D111 and sometimes in D111.13072013.

Is it possible to have 1 arsdoc update statement which can update 2 application groups within the same folder or do i have to make 2 seperate arsdoc update statements?

Kind regards,

Michel.

Report Indexing / Re: empty field in PDF form
« on: January 06, 2015, 02:12:58 AM »
Hi Frasert.

I tested your script , unfortunately i could not make it work.
Now i did the following. I made the amendmend date Field of type string instead of date.
In the indexexer information i made the default value Unamended.

This way the text Unamended is show when the amendmend date field is empty in the PDF form.

Thx for your suggestion and toughts,

Kind regards,
Michel.

Report Indexing / empty field in PDF form
« on: December 30, 2014, 07:01:28 AM »
Hi all,

I have PDF forms which are archived to cmod. In these pdf's there are 2 fields: order date and amendment date.
Sometimes it happens that there is no date with amendment date, so empty. Is it possible in this case to index the order date as the amenddate also?

Thank you ,

kind regards,

Michel.

Hi All,

Has anyone experience with Sharepoint in combination with archiving documents to Ondemand?
I know there is a content collector for sharepoint.

Windows Client / Re: problem with LOGO after upgrade CMOD client
« on: November 26, 2014, 12:15:28 AM »
Thx Greg,

IBM adviced me to upgrade to 9.0.0.4. 2 DLL's have been update which should solve the AFP problems.

Windows Client / problem with LOGO after upgrade CMOD client

Hi all

after upgrading to cmod client version 8.5.0.6 we noticed that several AFP documents with company logo in it , were not correctly showing the logo anymore (at another location in the document). Does someone have ran into the same problem?

Kind regards,

MP Server / Re: How Often to Reboot?
« on: July 01, 2014, 04:52:41 AM »
Hi Jeff

In my opinion it is a waste of time to reboot an AIX server especially with a DB2 database running on it. DB2 is maintaining the buffer cache and this caching becomes more efficient the longer db2 stays active. In my environment we only do reboots after applying OS or DB2 updates.

Michel.

MP Server / Re: Is anyone using TSM 7.1 yet?
« on: May 01, 2014, 11:03:20 PM »
Hi Justin,

I installed TSM 7.1 several times, unfornately not yet in combination with CMOD.
But my experience with 7.1 gives me confidence that it will work smoothly with CMOD 8.5.x or 9.0.x

Kind regards,

Michel de Kraker.

MP Server / Re: delete application group field
« on: July 15, 2013, 06:51:07 AM »
Ok thx JD

What i did:

copy AG (D111) to new name (D111.NEW) and delete field
update AG (D111) to new name (D111.15072013)
update D111.NEW back to D111 (so this has the original name. this was mandatory because supplying systems depend on that name)

updated the foldermappings offcourse to search data in D111.15072013 and D111.
Regards,

Michel.
