Hello out there
Planning to upgrade DB2 to v12, I am asked if OnDemand 8.5 and 9.5 have any issues.
I traveled across the Internet and could only find info referring to DB2 V11.1
Does anyone have plans with DB2 v12?

You can check the release notes (readme.txt) for the version of CMOD you're using, and towards the end of the document, it'll show you which versions CMOD was tested with. As long as you're using a version of DB2 newer than what was tested with, it's presumed to work -- and of course, it will be supported.
In the absence of any specific advice from IBM (you could open a PMR with IBM and report back) you could just do a test install to see if you run into any issues.
Having said all that, CMOD doesn't make use of any of the new / advanced features of DB2 -- so newer versions should be fine as long as there aren't major changes in the DB2 database configuration parameter names. (This happened in an older version of CMOD where the DB2 9.x changed the names of logging parameters, breaking the arsdb -c command.)

We've been running DB2 V12 internally since it first came out. Haven't found any issues at all so far.

Justin is right on this one. Just follow good DB2 practices and you should be good to go.
I'll add this:
1. Make sure you have the corresponding APARs applied for any issues found in DB2 V11:

2. While you're in test, try to exploit as many things as possible from here:
