Title: OnDemand 8.5 to 9.5 Upgrade
Post by: gnalawade on August 30, 2015, 08:04:01 PM
Hello,

After my test server OnDemand upgrade from 8.5 to 9.5, I found that batch load is working fine but started task load is not working and giving U04088 and deactivate  system exit code.  Does 9.5 has any code changes in system exit codes? Does any one has any inputs on how to fix this?

Thanks,
GN

Ganesh - is there an exit involved?   Have you recompiled the exit?   (If there is one).

Hello Ed,

Thanks for your response. There is exit RSADUPDT which makes use of ODSXUPDZ.  I haven't recompiled it yet because I have both 8.5 and 9.5 instances running on the same system.  If I recompile exit, will that impact my 8.5 instance in any case?

Thanks,
GN

Ganesh - I haven't tried this with this particular exit, but I think it'll work:

Using Separate Instances Of The Same Exit On The Same LPAR With Content Manager OnDemand for z/OS (MVS Dynamic Exit Point Exits Only)
