WEBI interface / Re: Configuring WEBi to user afp2pdf transform
« on: February 11, 2014, 09:15:41 PM »
Navigate to the afp2pdf transform directory and try to do a conversion manually using a AFP file. Also look in to the same directory for afp2pdf.err log file to identify the error.

For learning you can subscribe to IBM software access catalog and use the software.

Admin client is not installed by default when installing your client software. To install admin client, during installation choose custom installation and then choose the admin client enabled in the check box.

For unix, use crontab or autosys
For windows, use windows task scheduler

Is it a line data report? If then and defined as CC, then the data need to be preprocessed to remove the non carriage control characters.

MP Server / Re: arsload and deleting files
« on: January 27, 2014, 09:44:42 PM »
My issue is that the user id running CMOD has group access to the file to delete it but there is a prompt to delete (Y or N) that is where I believe the error occurs, RC=-1.  Many different apps dump files that are accessible by the CMOD user, but this prompt to delete is what I wish to over come.  Any ideas?

In that case, I guess arsload is trying to the OS native remove command rather than removing it in the program. Can you try to create a alias for "rm" as "rm -f" and set it is as default path?

Hello,
Does the application group have any fields defined for page count? if then that field can be summed up from AG table.

AFP resources are AFP files indeed, so JPEG should be conveted to PSG (AFP). Google search could give you JPEG to AFP converters.

Hello LWagner,
Is this in 8.5 ? If yes, does it break automatically, since looks like BREAK=YES in an invalid pdf indexing option.

MP Server / Strange Error while loading a file
« on: September 23, 2013, 06:28:57 AM »
Hello,
I am getting a strange error when loading a file MP (AIX) CMOD 8.5.0.6, DB2 9.07.0004

APK440I ACIF AT IM43P11 HAS COMPLETED NORMALLY WITH RETURN CODE 0.
arsload: 09/09/13 11:09:58 Indexing completed
arsload: 09/09/13 11:09:58 -- Loading started, 42082 bytes to process
OnDemand Load Id = >763-1-0-658FAA-15658-15948<
An error occurred.  Contact your system administrator and/or consult the System Log.  File=arsadmp.c, Line=1669
Failed while attempting to load the database
Loaded 0 rows into the database
arsload: 09/09/13 11:10:05 Loading failed
arsload: Processing failed for file >/XX/XX/XX/XX/XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.ARD<
arsload: 09/09/13 11:10:05 -- Unloading started
OnDemand UnLoad Successful - LoadId(763-1-0-658FAA-15658-15948) Rows Deleted(0)

Verifying the system log, I get the below message in the message no 13

DB Error: [IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/AIX64] SQLSTATE 01517: A character that could not be converted was replaced with a substitute character.  -- SQLSTATE=01517, SQLCODE=0, File=arsdoc.c, Line=4216

DB Error: Warning:  Unexpected SQL_SUCCESS_WITH_INFO -- SQLSTATE=Not Defined, SQLCODE=1, File=arsdoc.c, Line=4216

The code page used is EBCDIC 500 and there are no strange characters in indexes. Any insights on this error would be helpful
