Title: SEND option grayed out and updating windows.

This is the fix we implemented.  Set you registry to the following values.

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows Messaging Subsystem]
"MAPI"="1"

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows Messaging Subsystem\MSMapiApps]
"choosusr.dll"=""
"inetsw95.exe"=""
"msab32.dll"=""
"nwab32.dll"=""
"outstore.dll"="Microsoft Outlook"
"SearchProtocolHost.exe"="Microsoft Outlook"

It seems like it should have been a post reply, rather than a post on it's own, since you don't describe the problem / symptoms for the issue you're trying to resolve.
