Title: CMIS does not work with legacy date format
Post by: steven on January 08, 2018, 02:48:54 PM
First off, I have no idea why it still shows me as a newby.  I've been working with CMOD since 2004.  O well...enough said...lol.  Here's what's happening and I would very much appreciate some help here from you CMOD experts.  We have CMOD 9.5.0.4, ICN Version 2.03/3.01/2/3.  ICN runs on 2012 Windows Servers.  Organizationally, all the tentacles (bad choice of words I know) touching CMOD from an application standpoint are converting from any CGI in their code or older ODWEK Api's to CMIS version 1.0 (the latest I understand).

When we upgraded to CMOD 9.5.0.4 (Z/0S), we had to make some changes to the date format..legacy if you will.  Ok, here's what we're finding out:  CMIS does not work with the old legacy date formats.  Now I'm talking about viewing externally.  We use documents services and web presentation (firewall, etc., notwithstanding).  We can add Folders with the new date format and all is lovely; however, that doesn't seem to be a reasonable solution.  I have a PMR open as well.

Any help would be much appreciated!!  I can explain more clearly if need be.  I'm hoping it made sense.  It seems to be more <= and >= than just = to.

The 'newbie' designation just means you haven't posted or replied on the forums enough.  Don't worry, you'll get there.

As for the date fields, where are you having the trouble?  If you pass the correct date format at the folder level, ODWEK & CMOD should do the date format translation and queries properly, then hand the data back in a usable format.  Are you not getting the correct search results, or are you getting an error during processing, or mangled data back?
