Title: PDF issue
Post by: DDP021 on May 17, 2018, 08:44:20 AM
I created a PDF and attempted to load into CMOD 9.5.0.9.  Keeps failing with below message.  I was able to successfully run same PDF through the Report Wizard..Had no issues...Any clues?..Tried to google things but came up empty

ARS4901I INDEXDD=/prod/ode/cmod/arstmp4/ERRAPPS.ERRAPPS.pdf.ind
ARS4901I RESOBJDD=/prod/ode/cmod/arstmp4/ERRAPPS.ERRAPPS.pdf.res
ARS4923E PDDocOpen error code 1073807365 The file is damaged and could not be repaired.
ARS4912E Error opening Input file /prod/ode/cmod/arsload4/ERRAPPS.ERRAPPS.pdf
ARS4922I ARSPDOCI 9.5.0.9 completed code 1
ARS4309E Indexing failed

Check to see if the PDF can be saved in an older version of the PDF standard.  Also, check to see that compression is turned off, since CMOD will disassemble and compress the data in the PDF itself.

Justin,  I created the PDF using Adobe Acrobat Pro (11.0.23)...I created it from a WORD document...OF course I couldn't find anything online on the exact PDDocOpen error code....What I ended up doing is just creating a new CMOD definition and loading the WORD DOC itself using the generic indexer....As always, appreciate your input!   Take care

I think I have seen this after reading your response

Application level- trying PDF vs user defined "pdf"  I think user defined pdf + PDF Indxer work, but PDF didnt...extremely weird

Ya...Running the PDF through the report wizard worked fine..Highlighted trigger, field with now problems...Completed rest of setup..Issue occurred when attempting to actually load the same exact PDF....
