LDAP sync tool is included to help automate the synchronization of changes in users and groups definitions in corporate directory servers into Content Manager OnDemand for Multiplatforms.

Wasn't LDAP Sync made available in version 10.1.0.2?  We are upgrading to v10.1 and intend to use this feature....  From the LDAP Sync redbook:

Quote
Prior to Version 10.1.0.2, Content Manager OnDemand only supported authentication to LDAP.

Content Manager OnDemand V10.1.0.2 introduces a new command (ARSLSYNC) which can be configured to run as either a Windows scheduled task, a Unix cron job, or manually from a properly configured Content Manager OnDemand command prompt.

It was...  We'll have to wait for the documentation in order to figure out if there have been any substantial changes / improvements.

It's the same as what came out in 10.1.0.2.

This was mentioned prominentlly in the announcement because anyone at 10.1.0.1 or before might not be aware of the function that came out via the service stream.

We are planning on getting CMOD 10.5 up on our test system and was wondering if anyone has any tips or advice for this upgrade?  A checklist of things to look out for or a heads up on issues you had. Does the data structure from 10.1 carry over to 10.5?

Thanks in advance,
Mark

The 10.1 -> 10.5 should be relatively painless.  You have the readme in hand, right?  No database table changes.
