OD/WEK & JAVA API / odwek 9.5

We run ondemand 9.5 multiplatforms on aix servers.   We have a Linux and a windows application that needs the odwek client code (libs/jars)
What is the proper method to download just the odwek software in 9.5?   Do I have to download/install the server piece for windows and Linux
just to get the odwek client?  Seems like there should be a better way.  Any license concerns downloading/installing those just to get the odewk libs/jars?

Anand,
Did you ever figure out a way to query the appgroup to find out what field is marked as the segment field?
I need to do the same thing as we possibly might have to unload and then reload a bunch of reports..
When we do the reload we want to be sure to load the report back with the original date that was specified
in the segment field..  I'm guessing I'll have to query the appgroup to get the segment field.. than take that
field and query the application to get the proper format of that date...
If you figured out how to get the segment date field I'd appreciate it if you let me know... thanks

I found how to get the segment field by pulling from the arsag and arsagfld tables...
The segment field has a mask value of 6...

MP Server / Re: Upgrade OnDemand 8.3 to 8.5

Normally the upgrade path is to install fixpacks on top of what you already have...
I'm wanting to go from 8.4.1.5 to 9.0.. I have to go through 8.5...
but don't understand the uninstall current version and install 8.5 piece..

Does it really take the full install for 8.5?
How do you install the full base and not lose what you have already installed?
