MP Server / ACIF FileName Index

Hello, anyone have an idea if i can index from filename with ACIF Indexer as I am indexing from filename using pdf indexer with indexmode=metadata and it index successfully but on the other hand when i try to do this with ACIF CMOD failed with APK402S
THE PARAMETER parameter IS INVALID. A parameter that is not valid for ACIF was specified.

Report Indexing / CodePage Issue Line Data

Hello ,

I have an issue When i try to index file with ACIF Line Data that is generated with windows code page (1256) to make the Arabic appear in the report after indexing , CMOD index the file and uploaded it successfully but when i search for a specific index the index value is reversed , so when i write my search criteria i should write the index value from right to left to retrieve what i am looking for , anyone have idea why is this happening or how can i return the index value as it is in the report from left to write.

As you can see the index value of report the value is 2060 218
When I set my codepage 1256 the value is reversed in CMOD client when I search for the report & reversed in document hitlist to 218 2060

Hello ,

When I try to load a pdf report using pdf indexer in automatic load not with manual loading , CMOD return the below error

 ARS4312I Loading started, --UNKNOWN-- bytes to process
 ARS1140I Resource C:\load\IDO.IDO.IDO.pdf.res matches the resource >6-1-0<
 ARS1197E Invalid generic index file format sequence
 ARS1146I Loaded 0 rows into the database
 ARS4311E Loading failed
 ARS4324E File >E:\ondemand\arsload\IDO.IDO.IDO.pdf< renamed to >E:\ondemand\arsload\IDO.IDO.IDO.pdf.Failed<.  Correct problems and resubmit file.
 ARS4318E Processing failed for file >E:\ondemand\arsload\IDO.IDO.IDO.pdf<

and when i changed the RESTYPE in the indexer parameter file from RESTYPE=ALL to RESTYPE=NONE
Load is worked file, knowing the it is working on another environment for the same report with RESTYPE=ALL and automatic loading is working fine , so any one have an idea why this happen on this environment

If yes how can I enable it , or how to configure it

2- What's the version of TLS/SSL is supported from the CMOD V10.5 ?

Report Indexing / PDF Index from FileName

Hello,

I am trying to index my fields from the filename so I have done the below but I am getting an error :

1- I created an application group and defined 1 parameter BranchCode
2-I Created an application with Datatype : PDF & Indexer : PDF but without provide any indexer information included,
3-I provide in my configurator in arsload service parameter -b 1,BranchCode -B "AG.APP.1FLD.EXT"
4- I renamed my pdf file with ApplicationgroupName.ApplicationName.001.PDF & put it into the arsload folder for automatic loading
So what i was expecting that 001 is indexed from file name and stored in the field BranchCode which i created in my application

But I am still getting an error  ARS4910E Incomplete indexing parameters supplied

So anyone have idea why i am getting this error ?

MP Server / Field maximum length issue

Hello,

I have an issue that My Field(Customer Name) its maximum length is 160 , but there are reports that Customer Name is coming with 164 character so CMOD fails to extract this value and failed to load the report
I am using PDF Indexer
So anyone have an idea how to handle this issue without deleting the application group , by increasing length of field or by applying regular expression to trim the value when it reach 160 character and extract this value

Hello ,
Can anyone help me by answering this question please , is os/400 Indexer is working with CMOD multiplatform , My case is that i was having Content Ondemand on iSeries then it is migrated to CMOD multiplatform , and there are reports that will be ongoing from the migrated reports but the Indexer type of ongoing reports is 400 & Datatype is SCS& AFP so is it applicable to index the reports and load reports that will be ongoing on the multiplatform environment.

I am new to use XML Indexer I have 2 questions , I hope someone to answer me this question:

1-In XML indexer after I uploaded the XML file with .RES zip file first time , I try to load another XML file to the same application but without .RES zip file , so when i try to view the document of the second upload the format changes , So my question is should everytime i upload XML file to an application should i upload .RES zip file that contains my logos and .css and .xsl file ? , or is there any work around that i should do to only upload .RES zip file one time , and all the upload files after take the same format ?

2-In XML indexer after i uploaded the XML file with .RES zip file , Then after awhile I modified the format(.css or logo) in .RES zip file , so I want the old uploaded reports take the same format of the new uploaded reports

MP Server / IBM Cloud object storage issue in loading

Hello,

I am configuring IBM cloud object storage with AIX CMOD server, i configured the ars.cfg by adding the paramters
ARS_ICOS_CONFIG_FILE=/opt/IBM/ondemand/V10.5/config/ars.icos
ARS_ICOS_CONFIG_DIR=/opt/IBM/ondemand/V10.5/config

And i configured ars.icos.smp in config directory on AIX and specify Server IP and Enable SSL , SSL is enabled due to the customer said that SSL is enabled

And configured the Storage Set in CMOD by creating storage node and specify the vault name and user name and password ,

after i trying to load documents to a specific application the error LOG say :

ARS115E : Unable to store the object

I cannot trace the error as it is general error , so anyone have an idea about this issue and can help me
or is there any missing configuration that I should add related to the configuration or is there any configuration that need to be done due to the enablement of SSL

In Windows there is schedule Tasks in configurator that i can define my schedule to migrate to cache to a storage , What the alternative in AIX because in AIX the configurator don't contain schedule tasks So,
How to make the migration of application group maintenance schedule to run automatic on AIX , for migration from Cache to FileSystem Storage after n days ?

MP Server / AM/PM date format

Hello ,

I have some reports that contain dates like this 2020-09-15 7:03:25 AM , The customer need AM/PM to be viewed in the search results in Content navigator , is there any way to do that , because when i search on CMOD client the format appears fine in the search results but when I search on navigator only 2020-09-15 7:03:25 appears in search results without AM/PM , so is it applicable or not ?

While I am trying to load a file with ACIF line data as whole without cutting it only extract 2 values from the header of the report and archive the report as whole, The report was working fine when it's size was small size(30kb) . When I received a file with size (1.6GB).

when I use arslsync to import users and groups from LDAP , should i run arslsync everytime i make any changes in LDAP to take effect in CMOD V10.5
