OD/WEK & JAVA API / Re: ICN link for CMOD document.
« on: May 26, 2021, 08:41:30 PM »
Were you able to get this?
I am in windows 2019, CMOD 10.5 FP1, WAS 9, ICN 3.0.7 IF 7.
How would we pass the docid in the ICN URL?
Currently, I can open the doc in ICN, do a search, open the doc using Daeja Viewer and when I click viewer information or document information(Top right corner), I can get the docid.

http://<application URL>/navigator/jaxrs/od/getDocument?
docid=Y2hEsIxdYxIS2DJrrOJ1eldAmWMP7WZbEErCTK0nlGNtqP5zTsjUFufJt4nmI2OXifG0qaks9O8H6qQbRRsYyJoVeJ1bid6xNrvcmrrvGJsHdJkTBkaT5kP26WhlI62boPQYAs8GilXi7V9OXqrUXhIQ%3D%3D&template_name=ABC1&repositoryId=ARCHIVE&security_token=1948774851801308441

Thank you

On your CMOD server, check the www directory. When you deploy Navigator, you require to place that path, where navigator finds the odwek related jar files. Also, the Navigator will be looking for some env. variables when you start. Since your server for CMOD is installed on a different AIX machine than the navigator, how do you think of handling it? One thing you can do, in a non-production environment is always keep the version same, but go ahead and install the CMOD also on your Navigator system, that will lay down the path and binaries. You can use them. However, connecting to CMOD, you will use the configured CMOD system from navigator.
Again, this is to let you bypass those error to access the documents. You will have 2 CMOD, one to provide resource to Navigator, another is your with real data.
Better option is to install both in the same box, much simpler.
P.S. Follow the default paths for installation, less hiccups.

Content Navigator / Re: ICN document view url for CMOD reports
« on: April 08, 2021, 12:00:34 PM »
Forgive me, but asking the same question.
It used to be
https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/cmofz/9.5.0?topic=reference-document-hit-list-function

http://www.example.com/cgi-bin/arswww.cgi?_function=dochitlist&_server=myzos&_user=web&_password=web&_folder=credit%20card%20statements&account%20number=1000100010009999&date=1%2f1%2f96&date2=12%2f31%2f96&nameOP=256&name=%AA&_sort_field=Account,Account%20Balance,Date&_sort_order=A,D,A&_logoff=1&_html=template.htm

How do we use Navigator URL to view documents or provide a search list based on the following
(a) server name
(b) desktop id
(c)repository ID
(d) Folder ~ docID
(e)search criteria of the fields

https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/content-navigator/3.0.x?topic=client-constructing-url-content-navigator
Example of an IBM Content Manager OnDemand search: http://myserver.mycompany.com:9080/navigator/bookmark.jsp?desktop=AccountsPayable&repositoryId=AP_OD_System&docid=AP_FOLDER&template_name=AP_FOLDER&embedded=true

The example shows docid as "AP_FOLDER"

Using that, I am not getting the URL but an error CIWEB1016.

I have a case on this error and waiting from IBM's help.

MP Server / arspdoci trace information
« on: March 21, 2021, 12:46:51 AM »
I used the arstfmt option to trace and got the below in the CLI.

ARS1122E Unable to open the  to UCS-2 icu converter
fatal error 'invalid document structure' at line: 1

What am I missing?
icu dlls are in place as below with the size in bytes.
       988,080 icucnv40.dll
       95,080 icudt40.dll
       3,072 icudt58.dll
       393,728 icuhb58.dll
       2,115,584 icuin58.dll
       53,760 icuio58.dll
       1,512,448 icuuc58.dll

I am in 10.5.0.1 in Windows 2019 server, with an error on arsload, that works in CMOD 9.0. Did not change the PDF indexer parameters. PDF indexer 10.5 is installed.
Acrobat  Reader DC is installed.

How do we resolve the UCS-2 converter issue?

Thank you

Report Indexing / Re: PDF Indexer
« on: March 17, 2021, 11:24:53 PM »
--Yes it is late on this post relevancy, but folks may have not gone to CMOD 10.5 yet. ---
I believe if folks are still looking for the PDF indexer for Windows or AIX. Download the tar file.
If it is windows, the untar can be done via 7zip tool (7z.exe x <tar file).
Once extracted, it looks as the attached screen shot.

In windows, all I can find to include is the Install path directory, and I still get the same error.

--CMOD 10.5 with ICN 3.07, ODWEK path ----

Does that mean, just change the path(ICN 3.0.7 is still looking for ODWEK install directory)while configuring ICN to point to the new path will do the trick?
Screen shot attached while configuring ICN for connecting CMOD.

What exact should be the path for ODWEK?

Thank you

Hello JD
as you noted, seems like just adding the storage is not going to let us open documents.
We are getting error 23 on all objects in system log, that we refreshed from PROD.

2018-12-04 23:11:03.728339   OD_ADMIN_ID         29912   Error   No    23   Object >14358FAAA< in Application Group >GROUP-1< not found in cache, no other storage defined  Srvr->server_name_ip non-SSL<-

we have approximately 75000 documents, that can not be retrieved.
Is there something that can be turned on or updated to get those links?

Thank you

Thanks JD, noted.

Content Navigator / Re: ICN to CMOD and CMEE
« on: December 02, 2018, 11:15:36 PM »
I am thinking you are already using ICN from CMEE and pulling docs from CM 7.3 ( on iSeries).
Is this a supported architecture from IBM?
I am assuming you are leaving the i-series as is and not moving your data to CMEE.
Looking for similar exercise on ours too.

Thank you

MP Server / Re: ICC SAP with CMOD 10.1
« on: December 02, 2018, 11:03:48 PM »
have you resolved this yet?
maybe worth checking few of the passwords not stored, which is required for SAP.
a. modify the path variable where new installed path is included.
   D:\IBM\ICCSAP<X>\Server\bin;D:\IBM\ICCSAP<X>\Server\bin\gskit
   remove the old instance path
b. archpro -f serverpasswd, archint.cfg gets updated
c. archpro -f r3passwd, archint.cfg gets updated
d. archpro -f MASTER_KEY_FILE, new key is registered
e. you may be getting RC=CS_RC_OD_ERROR (-262) , ondemand library could not be loaded.
Modify the path variable to have the new CMOD bin directory after the old CMOD bin path variable.
start ArchPro again with option '-f dll_keystore_passwd'
f.  if you get the following error(port could be different)
CSS0463I: Starting a new client to replace client 8700.
CSS0466E: Error: ArchPro detected that client 5832 terminated.
   from instance/bin > client_key_gen.bat -c -p <your password>
   Server keystore created.

You may still find clues from here(even though older technote)

At first, apology, as we are planning to get to the latest version, before which we want to refresh a production copy in non-prod.
Current state:
        CMDO 9.0.0.6, DB2 9.7 FP10, OS Windows 2008 R2, we have cache_only option.
The non-prod/prod cache is on D drive of their own local disks.
[CACHE]
SMFS1=D:\IBM\OnDemandServer\arscache1
SMFS_NUM=1

The plan is
1. Take a backup of current non-prod DB, backup of current arscache1(this may not require, however we wanted to be safe just in case), take prod backup of DB
2. New drive is created in non-prod to hold prod arscache1 files in F drive from prod.
3. Copied prod arscache1 to non-prod new drive.
4. Add the new arscache1 to point to new location on F drive
we can not remove the current arscache(from one of the technote), we rather have to add the second entry. We have not tested, but after we add the second entry, can we remove the first? (if that will not cause a problem, we are OK to do so and have only one arscache1).
==>Assuming we will have two entries<==
[CACHE]
SMFS1=D:\IBM\OnDemandServer\arscache1
SMFS2=F:\ars\arscache1
SMFS_NUM=2

5. restore the DB from prod to non-prod. Yes non-prod and prod  are on same version of OS, DB, CMOD. We also made the db2 admin, and od admin id/pass the same just in case. Once this is complete, we will do the new OS, DB, CMOD upgrade a clean.

Do we need anything else to be done?
Thank you

Report Indexing / PDF Indexer on CMOD 9.0.0.6, where is the installer
« on: July 09, 2016, 06:12:32 AM »
We have had CMOD8.5 and installed odpdfwin.exe which was from a tar ball. (part  CZM2GML)
Do we have similar parts for CMOD9.5 as well? My passport advantage site did not have this part and now we are running into arsload failing, because of the following.
ARS4941I The OnDemand PDF feature has not been installed.  Please ensure that the feature has been purchased and properly installed.
ARS4309E 07/09/16 05:53:22 Indexing failed
Can someone tell the similar part number for CMOD 9.5 on windows 2008 ?
