z/OS Server / Re: CMOD 10.1 changes to DB2 tables

Thank you very much. At least now I have an idea of how many tables will be affected and how they'll be affected.

z/OS Server / CMOD 10.1 changes to DB2 tables
« on: September 17, 2018, 11:26:26 AM »
When I upgraded CMOD from 8.5 to 9.5, I asked IBM to provide 1 page with the DDL that was going to be executed by arsdb because DB2 for z/OS requires more than a simple back-up when a table is being dropped. Now, I'm close to executing the V10.1 arsdb and again I have no idea what it is going to do to Db2. Do you know?
Thank you,
Heloisa

There is no parameter. According to the 9.5 manual "The ARSODF.XML file is located in the config directory on your Content Manager OnDemand server.". So, that's what I did when I installed CMOD 9.5 in 2015. Just customized ARSODF.XML and placed it under/config.

Well, we don't have that. We have a file arsodf.xml under config. It has the SMTPServer tag pointing to our mail server (outside the mainframe) and no SMTPServerPort. I think we'll be OK.

Hi Ed, I'm a little confused about ODF and email. You mentioned the parameter SRVR_ODF_CFG . We don't have that parameter and the knowledge center indicates that this is a parameter for IBMi , not z/OS.
Could you please clarify?
Thanks.

Documentation / Message ARS0446E
« on: July 17, 2017, 03:32:16 PM »
ODF 9.5 is placing message ARS0446E on ARSSOCKD, but it is not very clear what the problem is. I could not find 0446E anywhere. Does anybody have an explanation for 0446E? Thanks.

z/OS Server / How to display the Ondemand version
« on: February 10, 2009, 10:25:09 AM »
I believe there is a command that displays the version/maintenance level of the Ondemand being executed under z/OS, but I cannot find it. Does anybody know it?
Thank you.
