Report Indexing / arload with pdf on AIX
« on: July 07, 2020, 04:33:09 AM »
I am trying to load PDF data from windows  to AIX and arsload fails immediately see the attachment for an example.

I have latest version of CMOD on the Windows platform and also on AIX platform, and  arsload not working , and the sample i am trying to load is on my windows platform and when i try to run the arsload command i stand on the directory where the samples exists and here is my arsload command:

arsload -I IP_address -u admin -p demodemo -g PDF_XY -a PDF_XY TEST.pdf

Does anyone have any tips for remote loading of PDFs from Windows to a CMOD server on a UNIX platform?  Is there something we're missing?

OD/WEK & JAVA API / Re: Integeration with filenet
« on: April 21, 2020, 02:36:57 AM »
ODWEK is included in the CMOD Server installation package.  Review the install and configuration instructions for ODWEK in the latest documentation.  ODWEK v9 won't work with v10.5.

-JD.

Thanks Justin for your response , but my question is i have 2 servers one contain the CMOD server and one contain the Filenet P8 , so should i install the CMOD server on the filenet p8 server to be able to integrate with filenet p8 ?

OD/WEK & JAVA API / Integeration with filenet
« on: April 19, 2020, 07:00:46 AM »
Hello,
I am asking about the ODWEK that must be installed on the filenet server , now i have Ondemand v10.5 on server and in another server i have my filenet p8 , so i enabled the CFS-CMOD check box on the configurator , on knowledge center i found that i should install the ODWEK on the filenet p8 server , and the last version of the ODWek i found was 9.0 , so should i install ODWEK  v9.0 on filenet p8 server and will it be compatible with my CMOD v10.5 , or what should i do ?

52
What have you tried to do in order to fix it?  Did you follow the installation guide?  Have you re-checked your steps?  Did you check for requisite libraries/classes?

-JD.

Hello Derrick,
I follow the installation guide and thats was the file that i should add to my CLASSPATH so i added in my CLASSPATH gson-2.8.6.jar  and restarted my application server but still have the same issue

OD/WEK & JAVA API / Re: ODWEK version
« on: April 07, 2020, 09:46:50 AM »
There is only a single install now. If you installed 10.5 you will have /www directory which is where ODWEK lives.

Thanks,
Rob

Thank you very much Rob

What do you have set for the ARS_LDAP_SERVER_TYPE parameter in your config?

I set ARS_LDAP_SERVER_TYPE  to ARS_LDAP_SERVER_TYPE = AD

but i it wasn't exists in the parameters so i added ARS_LDAP_SERVER_TYPE  and the value AD

My guess is you have an incorrect filter defined. Test your user and group filters with either adfind.exe or ldapsearch. You can find information on these tools in the LDAP Sync whitepaper. If you continue to struggle open a PMR and we will get you all the help you need.

Thanks,

RR

Dear rjussel,

thank you for your response , i set ARS_LDAP_GROUP_FILTER=(objectclass=group) and ARS_LDAP_USER_FILTER = (objectclass=user) in my arscfg , and when i open my system log in ondemand client there is an error that said : Bad search filter

so is there any thing i am doing wrong ?

Hi.  There's an article on the wiki about this error:

https://cmod.wiki/index.php/ARS1107E

And there's also the CMOD troubleshooting article:

https://cmod.wiki/index.php?title=Troubleshooting_Content_Manager_OnDemand

Can you review those, and show us any additional error messages you receive?

-JD.

Dear Justin Derrick,
Thank you for your response but i reviewed the articles , i didn't see any thing related to my error , do you have any idea about how to configure my ondemand cofigurator parameters

Report Indexing / Re: Can i index from filename
« on: November 06, 2019, 05:19:09 AM »
This is what I found worked for me.  As I mentioned previously, I found that you must already have created a .ARD file and a .IND file (containing no index data) with the same name.

Application Group INVOICEAG contains 3 fields, NAME, INVNUMBER, RPTDATE with format YYYYMMDD.
Application INVOICE is defined as Generic Indexer with data type PDF.

These files exist in my directory:
INVOICEAG.INVOICE.TESTNAME.987654.20190221.ARD
INVOICEAG.INVOICE.TESTNAME.987654.20190221.ARD.IND
INVOICEAG.INVOICE.TESTNAME.987654.20190221.ARD.PDF

The content of the .IND file are:
COMMENT:
CODEPAGE:37
COMMENT:
GROUP_OFFSET:0
GROUP_LENGTH:0
GROUP_FILENAME:/ascent/Scan02/INVOICEAG.INVOICE.TESTNAME.987654.20190221.ARD.PDF

This arsload command worked to load a specific file:
arsload -h ONDENU -v -G MVS -A JOBNAME -b 1,NAME -b 2,INVNUMBER -b 3,RPTDATE -B MVS.JOB.1FLD.2FLD.3FLD /ascent/Scan02/INVOICEAG.INVOICE.TESTNAME.987654.20190221.ARD

Joe

Thank you very much for your reply , i want to make a date in my filename and load into cmod and create a field that can i set in it the date to search for a specific date , that field its datatype is Date not string
