byte counting
« on: May 21, 2013, 07:07:39 AM »
We seem to be having trouble doing a byte count for a CSV file that we want to store. The file is originated on the MF, but when we count bytes, it never seems to jive with the indexer. Using the generic indexer and we want to store multiple CSV files that would normally be unique documents, concatenated together to be read as one file and split using the indexer file.

Anyone got any tips?

Hello Geoff,

What Codepage is using your CSV? I had a few weeks ago problems with CSV with some strange codepages... and some characters were quite impossible to read, depending with which software I was using...

Sincerely yours,
Alessandro
