Re spooling
« on: April 07, 2014, 10:27:27 PM »
Hi,

We have some old RDARS reports that we need to re spool and re archive to an existing OnDemand Application group. The re spooling works without any issue but when we try to archive it back to the existing Applicatin Group we get the error "No Groups were found - Trigger 1 was not found". Has anyone seen this error before?

This is the command to monitor the output queue;

STRMONOND TYPE(*OUTQ) OUTQ(QUSRSYS/ONDCAPT) APPGRPSRC('*USRDFNOPT1' '*NONE
' '*NONE') APPSRC('*USRDFNOPT2' '*NONE' '*NONE') ERROUTQ(QUSRSYS/ONDERR) D
LTSPLF('*NO') PRCOUTQ(QUSRSYS/ONDPROC) ENDMON('*NO') NBRHRS(8) ENDTIME(230
000) NBRMON(1) INSTANCE('QUSROND') SBMJOB(*NO)

We use the correct User defined option 1 and 2 in the spool file but still it gives this error.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Rav.

My hunch is that your monitor job is finding the correct Application Group and Application to use for archiving, but your trigger 1 value defined in your Application is not being found during the indexing process.  I suggest repooling another sample and using the Admin Client to reexamine your Triggers in your Application settings.  Then use the ADDRPTOND command to test manual archiving to this Application.  Then once this is working, try again with the STRMONOND monitor job.

Good Luck,
Joe
