Is there a limit on a document size that can be retrieved using CMOD API?

I don't think there's a limit that's unreasonable -- you might not want to try to pull more than a gigabyte out since you're going to have a lot of trouble with latency as you go from your browser to websphere to ODWEK to CMOD and back.

arsdoc is likely your best bet if you're going to pull a lot of data.
