We are getting warning messages that we should upgrade the data compression from LZW16 to OD77 when loading documents.

Can we update an existing Application, that already contains documents loaded, from  LZW16 Data compression to OD77?

In other words, is this a going forward impact for future loaded documents only or will this cause issues retrieving or unloading the documents loaded with the old compression value?

Thanks,

Steve

Yes, you can change to OD77 without causing problems for existing data, and the change will only take effect for new documents.

There is no way (currently) to retroactively change the compression type without extracting & re-loading everything into a new Application Group.
