Our system is rather complex -- internal users access documents in CMOD through a custom web interface, which connects to ICI, which them connects to CMOD.

The problem is that line data reports are being retrieved through this structure, and presented to the end user as text -- but when the end user opens them, they are displayed as text in the Notepad application, and they still have the carriage control characters.

We'd like to use the Java Line Data Viewer applet to display these reports, but there doesn't seem to be any documentation on using it outside the context of ODWEK (by configuring arswww.ini, for example).

Has anyone else configured their custom web apps to use the Line Data Viewer app?  Do you have any hints / tips / instructions / documentation that you found to be useful?

Thanks.

You can use the line data viewer only in conjunction with ODWEK, at my knowledge, since the interface/API are not public...
You must think of it, like an extension of the CMOD java library in ODWEK.
