CMOD Loading Duplicate AFP Reports

Hello,  My team uses CMODv9.0.3 and we're wondering if anyone experienced CMOD loading duplicate reports.  We have loaded 24 AFP report this week and after checking the system log we noticed CMOD has loaded two of the report files twice. We've had a similar issue with our PDF report file as well. I tried to submit an attachment but it's not accepting.  As we troubleshoot for a cause, I thought to add this here to see if anyone has any info or support.  Thanks.

Do you have a process that 'wraps' around arsload, or do you use arsload in daemon mode (with -d <directory>)? 

I'd say that 50% of problems with strange loading issues are caused by scripts that try to control arsload, instead of just leaving it running.

Hello and thanks for the reply.  Yes we do use the arsload in daemon mode.  My associate analyst was also wondering if anyone out there who has experienced this, if the load id was different for the duplicate loads.  Thanks again.

Duplicate loads isn't normal behavior, so there's something wrong.  Either your files are being delivered twice, or arsload is processing them twice.

You'll probably want to upgrade to v9.0.0.7, since there are a lot of bug fixes, and this one sounds like it might be similar:
PI19747 - Arsload shows msg 87 while zero rows inserted in the DB

LoadIDs should be unique for every load.
