Hi
I want to Understand the APPLICATION GROUP - Table Compression setting from ADVANCED Option.
I see the Compression may performed based the COMPRESSION feature if available in DB.
We have ORACLE with EXADATA (it has the feature of "Hybrid Columnar Compression ")
My Queries
- OD Table Compression will do BASE Compression or "Hybrid Columnar Compression"?
- How the table Compression is Invoked, it is Implicit or Explicit ,
If Explicit wht is the OD command line Please help.
if Implicit , then the COMPRESSION is Invoked while the INDEX table is Closed? or During the INSERTION into the INDEX Table?
Please help to Clarify this info.
