How to set Cache forever
« on: August 16, 2017, 05:33:15 AM »
Hi,

Is there anyway to keep Cache document and indexes forever?

I see when creating the application group it has 2 options:

1. Life of data and indexes - this i have set to never expire
2. In document data, the value for cache document data for x days, what should this be set to?

Thank you
Nishen

If you *really* need to keep data forever, you should have alternate storage defined.  In CMOD v10.1, you can select 'filesystem storage' to put it on a disk other than the cache.

The maximum I'd recommend setting the cache retention to is 36525 - or 100 years.
