statistics report
« on: July 07, 2008, 09:08:51 AM »
Hi

We would like to create a statistics report showing how often each report is accessed.

I would appreciate if anyone of you can provide me steps to do that or if you can refer me some document that would be great.

Regards,
Anant

We do statistics on the month, but don't break by day. What specifically are you after?

Hi,

I've created some reports after reading the info from 'System Log' folder.
I am using some java-classes that I've written

I'm making reports:
- Nr of views  / Appl group /day
- Nr of views  / Appl group /month
- Nr of views / day total
- total loaded byte/document

etc

Hi,

I tried to submit form with my email address at http://www.raptor4.com, but got this error: "You don't have permission to access /contact.cgi on this server."

Is site still supported and tool available?
Few years ago I've done for our company "home-made" statistics based on System Log for docs retrievals, user activity, cache-tsm timings, etc. (coded logic to work with SL dump), and really interested in this type of product.

Just wanted to let you guys know that, capturing these details in System Log requires additional logging options to be enabled in Application Group "Message Logging" settings. This might cause a system performance degrade because every transaction will spawn a logging request to System Log. Based on my experience, additional logging is suggested only when it's required to captured details for debugging purposes.
Again it depends on the system's usage.

Of course, there are ways to reduce that impact, and they're available with RAPTOR4.  :)
