Storage Set Name not completed
« on: April 03, 2018, 02:52:49 PM »
We had IBM services do our conversion to CMOD Multiplatform on RHL almost 2 years ago.  I was updating an application group and discovered that the Storage Set Name for several application groups is blank.  The Cache Data is yes and the Document Data is clicked for Cache Document Data for XXXX Days.  Should I be concerned?  The data is available back both historical and day forward.  I updated one application group but hesitate to correct the rest.   eeeekkksss!!!

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.  :)

It's probably defaulting to cache, and trying to move the data to secondary storage likely won't be successful since it's not set up for it.

Which other Storage Sets do you have defined?  What's your secondary storage method?  (TSM / Cloud / File / etc.)

We are only writing to cache now.  We don't have any other devices set up.

Yeah, you can set them to Cache Only if you'd like, it won't change anything.  :)
