ICC SAP with CMOD 10.1
« on: September 04, 2018, 07:16:48 AM »
Hi All

Is someone having a working environment with ICC SAP 4.0 in combination with CMOD 10.1?

I am having issues with this setup. When starting ICC SAP it will not logon to CMOD (which it should :-) )
In my production environment I have ICC SAP 2.2 with CMOD 8.5 working without any issues.

I am suspecting SSL certificaties on both ICC SAP and CMOD which are causing issues.

Anyone having any thoughts on this?

Thx

Kind regards

Michel.

Sorry!

As we've seen before here on the forums, SSL issues are tricky.  Keep us posted with your progress though.  :)

Thx JD.

Offcourse also opened a PMR @IBM.
They are now focussing on the /opt/IBM/ondemand/V10.1/bin/exits/arscmn64 binary. This might be the issue.

Keep you posted

Kind regards

Michel.

Hi All

As I expected, the issue was with the arscmn64 CMOD 10.1 binary. IBM advised me as a temporary solution to use the arscmn64 CMOD 9.5 binary. And now ICCSAP 4.0 is working properly.

Kind regards

Michel.

Thanks for the update!  Future searchers will be happy to know there is a temporary solution.

have you resolved this yet?
maybe worth checking few of the passwords not stored, which is required for SAP.
a. modify the path variable where new installed path is included.
   D:\IBM\ICCSAP<X>\Server\bin;D:\IBM\ICCSAP<X>\Server\bin\gskit
   remove the old instance path
b. archpro -f serverpasswd, archint.cfg gets updated
c. archpro -f r3passwd, archint.cfg gets updated
d. archpro -f MASTER_KEY_FILE, new key is registered
e. you may be getting RC=CS_RC_OD_ERROR (-262) , ondemand library could not be loaded.
Modify the path variable to have the new CMOD bin directory after the old CMOD bin path variable.
start ArchPro again with option '-f dll_keystore_passwd'
f.  if you get the following error(port could be different)
CSS0463I: Starting a new client to replace client 8700.
CSS0466E: Error: ArchPro detected that client 5832 terminated.
   from instance/bin > client_key_gen.bat -c -p <your password>
   Server keystore created.

You may still find clues from here(even though older technote)
