Reading TSM archived files
« on: December 20, 2018, 10:40:29 AM »
Hi,

We have orphan files present in the TSM which are not mapped to any metadata present in data server. Files are present in .bfs extension. We would like to read these files or if possible fetch them and place them back to their location, in local system, before migration.

Can someone please help me on the same?

This is a REALLY complex data recovery issue, and there is no simple, automatic solution that can be explained quickly.

Either engage with Lab Services or a consultant to get access to the data for you.
