ftp site for client downloads and readme files (pre 8.5):

 ftp://service.software.ibm.com/software/ondemand/fixes/

Starting with version 8.5.0.0, all IBM Content Manager OnDemand for Multiplatforms Fix Pack files will only be published/released on the IBM Fix Central web site:

CICS Client download:

https://www14.software.ibm.com/webapp/iwm/web/preLogin.do?source=db2cmto

The CICS Client is no longer available for download.

You need to open a problem ticket with Level 2 who will provide the latest client.

Note:  The CICS Client is not a part of the base CMOD product.  Rather it started out and still is a CMOD Services offering that has been made available upon request.

In that I must agree strongly :-) I had a few weeks ago a customer with an AFP problem, and it was working fine with Client 8.4.X, but the 8.5.X series didn't play nice, and they had lots of problems.
They tried 9.0.0.0 without success.
Then they call me, and I tried the new 9.0.0.1 client... and guess what, it worked! :-D

Well sometimes this is a lottery! :-D
