Minimum Supported Environments on z/OS
« Reply #6 on: March 11, 2010, 01:31:23 PM »
This is the "bible" as far as what is considered a supported environment for CMOD 8.4.1.

http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=2207&uid=swg27014103

And this is for CMOD 8.5.0:

http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg27019242

And the beat goes on to CMOD 9.0:

http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=129&uid=swg27021524

CMOD 9.5:

http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=129&uid=swg27043163

CMOD 10.1:

In that I must agree strongly :-) I had a few weeks ago a customer with an AFP problem, and it was working fine with Client 8.4.X, but the 8.5.X series didn't play nice, and they had lots of problems.
They tried 9.0.0.0 without success.
Then they call me, and I tried the new 9.0.0.1 client... and guess what, it worked! :-D

Well sometimes this is a lottery! :-D
