Partial Load ID not present in System Log or System Load
« on: April 17, 2020, 09:34:20 AM »
Just curious..
Situation:.  Documents are created in an AG on a given day.   The Last Load date on the AG in the Admin Client reflects that day.    In the folder for the AG, documents are able to be retrieved.  A right click on each to show properties does show partial load ids.    However, when searching that partial ID in System Log or Load yields no results.    So the question is.. Under what circumstances is it possible to "load" into CMOD, and not have that reflected in the System Log and Load AGs?
I'm thinking maybe Arsdoc Add?    Because an ARSLOAD, even from distributed would show in the system log/load, I can see those messages.
Messaging logging Tab, on the AG has "object store" selected.

Maybe you need a wildcard character (%) at the end of the partial load id?

Any chance you're using the Enhanced Retention Management add-on?

I believe we do for some AGs.  We don't for the one in question though.  The Check box on the Advanced tab under General is checked "No" for ERM.  Thanks again.
This is strange to me.  I see tons of load messages and can reconcile all of the System Log 87 messages with System Load entries for other AGs.  However I can find neither for this AG, even when I know new rows are being added on almost a daily basis.  So no 87 messages in the Log, and no Load Rows are found for that AG(when searching by AG).   Even when I search for partial Ids, no rows.  How can a row be added without being reflected in the load or log table?

It *is* strange.  I know that ERM can reload data (to dispose of old files that aren't being held), and I know they get reloaded into the current segment table, but I don't know if they get new DocID's (I don't think they would).

Do you have any line of business apps that use the ODWEK Java API to insert documents into CMOD?  I know the Load function of the API creates a #87 message, but not about the add message...

Yes to the ODWEK API question.    An Add of some sort was my only "guess".  so maybe that  IS it....  And I agree about seeing Load messages from it.  The userid that has "add" authority is the same ID  doing Loads to other AGs... so from that perspective, I see 87 messages elsewhere.
It's a little scary though... I am left, in this situation, with little ability to figure out what and where data is going...
