system performance monitoring
« on: August 10, 2020, 04:36:06 PM »
There's no out of the box IBM/Unicom tool to provide a monitoring solution. I know of one other product on the market that does this, but how do you monitor for performance issues, or don't you?

We're primarily a Z shop where CMOD is concerned but we have a fair amount of web traffic both internal and external. I'd be happy to get eyes on all of it at once, but any of it would be nice.

Thanks

I've built monitoring solutions for customers.  What exactly are you looking to monitor for?  Long running queries, slow retrievals, etc?

Can you use the arslog user exit?  That's the easiest / simplest way to get super-basic reporting.  Do you want the info submitted to an enterprise reporting system?
