FONT MAPPING
« on: July 14, 2009, 01:26:08 AM »
HI ALL!

I've Customized (font mapping with Greek fonts) .FNT  Files because I was getting error massages. In my computer it seems ok. After the customization I can view forms without any problem. I copy ? paste these 3  .FNT files (CPDEF.FNT , CSDEF.FNT, ICODED.FNT)  to other computers with cmod client .. I am not getting any error message but the view of data on the document it is not readable (Greek language)  Do you have any suggestion ? (client version is 7.1.2.6)

Thank you

Hi Frederick,
Yes i copy all my font directory from my computer to the other...
Think of that I must distribute these .FNT files on about 3.500 computers!
So I must check what fonts they have install ???  if that so I wont go for vacation this year!

Hi Lazosa,
I believe all the font files defined in CPDEF.FNT, CSDEF.FNT, ICODED.FNT need to be installed in all the computer to get the proper view

Hi Frederick,

Yes i have installed the .FNT FILES To the other pc. So i am not getting any more the ERROR messages that you getting if you haven't set up the font mapping.
My pc and to the others  have the same .FNT files. But when they view the afp document the data seems unreadable in my pc seems perfect..?

Finally I found the solution.
My cmod version is 7.1.2.6  and the others is 7.1.2.0. When I installed to the other pc my version they can view without problem!
