Duplicate ids
« on: January 11, 2022, 08:10:56 AM »
Hello,

We recently have seen an issue where the system is allowing us to add an id to the database that is already defined.  In the past when we would try and do this, we'd get a message indicating "the user id or UID already exists".  Once the duplicate id is added, we cant do any changes to either id other than a delete.  It also wont allow the user to access their reports.  We are running CMOD ADMIN version 10.1.0.5

How are you creating these ID's, i.e. admin client, arsxml, arslsync....?

Need the specifics. I have tried and can't recreate this issue.

Can you show us some screen shots of the duplicate IDs?  Is there anything special about the IDs?  (Similar names, a high number of users, etc.?)

Justin,

For some reason its not allowing me to add attachment.  Will tell you the users were added at different dates by different Administrators.  We did check and they both had unique UIDS associated with them.  What we really odd is, when we would go under UPDATE and attempt to even look at anything on the setups it would then tell you, "User id or UID already exists"...only thing we could do is delete one of them.

Which image type are you trying to upload?  The forum supports JPEG, GIF, PNG, ICS, & TIF/TIFF extensions, and the size needs to be under 25MB.

Maybe send your screen caps to me via eMail, and I'll convert them and post them if you're still having trouble.
