How install odwek v10.x only to linux?

In previous version v9 there was separate binary and OdWek v9 was installed with command
odweklinux.bin -i console

Now v10.x says:
"The ODWEK executables, libraries, jars, applets, and plugins are now packaged with OnDemand Server installations."

If I start installation with command
odlinux.bin -i console

is there option to install OdWek only?

Actual OD server is on Windows platform...

Nope, install the whole package.  It's not that big, only a couple hundred MB.

Also, even though you need to install the whole package, you don't need to do any of the server configuration to use ODWEK.

Is there still need to install 32-bit versions?

The GSKit (32-bit vs 64-bit) needs only to be matched by the Java you are running. So, if you're using a 32-bit Java, you will need 32-bit GSKit. If you're using 64-bit Java, you will need 64-bit GSKit.

Not sure what you mean by "are there risks for other applications lying on the same server". Would you please elaborate?

I installed V10.5 to my downloaded Red Hat linux docker.

Our client is worried about WHAT server installation actually do because of there is also other applications on servers e.g WebSphere, ISAM client (use gsk-libraries).

Does odlinux.bin -i console installation extration files likes or what?
I did't find any kind of log, e.g. some installation log.

Our client wants to be sure that there is eg. any installed service with some listening port.

Still I assume that just configuration adds services (eg. that starts od-server in reboot).

The installer does not perform any configuration - it just lays down files.

There is a log file in /tmp that records the install/uninstall activities. For the 10.5 server install, its name is odmpv105log.txt.

I see from odmpv105log.txt file both my actions: v10.5 and v10.5.0.4 extractions using tar.

There is one implication with installing all of CMOD when all you want is ODWEK, and that is when the yearly license audit takes place.
The automated tools will report CMOD as being installed on all of your ODWEK servers.
So far, a good explanation at a meeting has sufficed to convince the auditors that this is not a breach of licensing.
But it is the same type of meeting every year... 🙄😏

Servers are still licensed on Processor Value Units (PVUs) right?  Otherwise someone could archive terabytes of data and pay nothing as long as nobody ever accessed it, which doesn't seem right.

Servers CAN be licensed by PVU - pretty rare and requires special approval. Primarily we license by client. It's much easier to track that. There are some add-ons that can be PVU based.
