Printing selected area of a document

Hello,
I am trying to print part of a long page.
This is line data, and page can be say 1000 lines long.

In OnDemand V8.4 Client there is possibility to select an area and then mouse right click, Send.... and then select "Use selected area as message text"
and in this way get the selected area to email.

It is possible to copy/paste to another program, but
does anyone know if you can directly print a selected area?

This would make a great enhancement request for the CMOD developers.  Being able to print a selected area would be a great way to reduce paper usage.

Found a possible solution, in Application View Information there is  "Line Count", which can be used to divide a long document to pages.
And print function allows to select the pages to be printed.

View Information  "Line Count" seems to work OK when line length is not too long.
But when line length is like 130, printed text is very small, unreadable.

I defined logical view with one field just 80 characters long.
On display got those 80 long lines, but print did not get better.

IBM  already has requirement number MR0106095526 for printing selected area of a document.

Being IBM employee  I do not add this to "Enhancement requests" section of this forum.

Excellent.  It's great to see that it's already on the list.

Posting the request in the Enhancement Requests section gives your fellow users an opportunity to review, comment, refine, and vote on the enhansement to determine how important it is.  You're not obligated to, but it's a great way to help development prioritize the improvements in the queue.
