RSS Feed Function Add to forum
« on: June 14, 2011, 02:58:02 AM »
Good Morning,

I really like this forum as I'm an OD-Admin. But I don't like getting all the information all day long manually.

My suggestion is to add an RSS-possibility to the forum ==> you can get all the information you want on your RSS-Reader. For SMF there's a RSS plugin: http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=376  As there's not that much traffic on this forum this would be easier then getting the threads manually (IMHO).

I really would like someone adding this to the forum.

Cheers
mayach

Hi.

I simply bookmark the "Show unread posts since your last visit", and load that up every morning with a dozen or so other websites I check every day.

ODUG didn't write the software that runs the forum, so our ability to add features is limited.

Hope this helps!

Hi Justin,

that could be a workaround, but I like getting all the information in my RSS reader. As I mentioned, there's a plugin ready for the forum software used on here... so someone could try to activate this plugin.
