IBM Records Manager
« on: July 18, 2012, 12:40:26 AM »
Is there a case where someone would use IBM records manager with CMOD.
As I understand, CMOD can be configured with a Storage Manager that would take care of disposition, etc.

So could there be a situation where IBM RM is used with CMOD.

I was under the impression that IRM was being phased out, and Filenet Records Manager was the new solution.  With the Enhanced Retention Management and CFS support, you can connect CMOD to a Filenet system, and manage retention inside Filenet, rather than inside CMOD or with IRM.

I haven't done an install like that -- so this is largely speculation.  Can anyone confirm?
